This research aims to develop a web-based encyclopedia on the rhythmic patterns
of tilingtit rampak bedug as a learning resource and cultural preservation effort.
The art of rampak bedug faces preservation issues, including lack of interest and
awareness, limited access to information, and a dearth of easily accessible
learning materials. To address these problems, this study responds by developing
an encyclopedia specifically designed to promote interest and appreciation for
traditional music, with a focus on the tilingtit rampak bedug patterns. The
research employs a qualitative research approach using the Research and
Development (R&D) method, following the ADDIE model in the development
process. The web-based encyclopedia of tilingtit rampak bedug patterns is
designed with the goal of providing easy access to information, serving as a
comprehensive and user-friendly learning resource, and showcasing the
application of tilingtit rampak bedug patterns. The research findings indicate the
successful achievement of the encyclopedia's objectives as a learning resource
and cultural preservation effort. The encyclopedia presents comprehensive
content, engaging visual presentations, and user-friendly navigation. Users have
provided positive feedback on the content quality and usability of the
encyclopedia. It is hoped that the web-based encyclopedia of tilingtit rampak
bedug patterns will effectively serve as a learning resource, contribute to the
preservation of Rampak Bedug culture, and enhance understanding and
appreciation of this valuable cultural heritage.
