The background of this research is because (1) there are publishers who do not describe
core competencies (KI), basic competencies (KD), and learning objectives, (2) the
material presented in LKS is difficult for students to understand because it is full of text,
(3) material that presented does not yet lead to a problem-based learning context, (4)
Student Worksheets (LKS) are not yet in accordance with the components of the module
preparation namely self-instruction, self-contained, stand-alone, adaptable, and userfriendly, (5) Student Worksheets (LKS) have not there are illustrations/pictures related to
the material for the balance of life in the world and the hereafter, (6) the appearance of
the LKS is less attractive to learning motivation, (7) there are no learning instructions in
the LKS so that students can easily study the material independently, (8) there is no
answer key in the LKS and self-reflection so that students know their level of success in
independent learning. This study aims to develop learning media, analyze feasibility,
analyze effectiveness, and analyze student responses to problem-oriented learningoriented Al-Quran Hadith modules on the material of life balance in the world and the
hereafter in class VIII of SMP Assalam Jayanti, Tangerang Regency. The development
model used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model
(Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), the test subject for class
VIII students with a quasi-experimental approach. The results of this study indicate that
the development of problem-based learning-oriented Al-Quran Hadith modules is in
accordance with the method of preparing modules and problem-based learning syntax.
The feasibility of the problem-oriented learning-oriented Al-Quran Hadith module
according to the validation of material experts is 95.65% and the validation of media
experts is 90%, which is feasible and does not need to be revised. The effectiveness of
learning using the Al-Quran Hadith module oriented to problem-based learning obtained
an N-Gain score of 78.3% in the effective category. Student response to the problembased learning-oriented Al-Quran Hadith module of 83.53% has an attractive criteria
level and does not need revision.
